Portugal, Spain, Iran, Morocco
Recent European Cup winners Portugal will be hoping to emulate their Iberian neighbors by following up that success with a World Cup win. Captain of Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo, will be the one to lead his country in that endeavor. The striker has an amazing goalscoring record and has a penchant for the limelight, too. I love the fact that these rivals were drawn together, but the gulf in class separating these two from the other countries make this group an easy one to predict. However, I must admit that Morocco does possess some talent. Juventus defender and Moroccan captain Mehdi Benatia has played on some big stages before, and Ajax midfield maestro Hakim Ziyech has some great vision and can score a goal or two. Still, Spain 1st and Portugal 2nd.
